Boxer Taken Away...

Clover says:

The other day I found Boxer collapsed on the ground, unable to get up! I had told that stubborn workaholic to slow down! When Napoleon was told he immediately made arrangements to send Boxer to a hospital in Willing-don. When he came back, he limped, with difficulty, to his stall.
Benjamin and I could only be with Boxer during the day, and it was in the middle of the day that the van arrived to take Boxer away! We all crowded around the van calling good-bye to him. Benjamin was furiously stamping his feet, yelling "Fools, fools! Don't you see what is written on the side of the van?" We all turned to read it, and it said this: " Alfred Simmonds, Horse Slaughterer and Glue Boiler, Willingdon. Dealer in Hides and Bone Meal. Kennels Supplied." They were taking him to the knackers!! We all followed the van, crying out loudly... I screamed at him to get out, but the kicks he sent to the door of the trailer didn't go through! The van disappeared down the lane, leaving us disappointed and angry.
